Alpha Omicron Pi

Inspire Ambition.

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York, New York, in 1897. The Omega Upsilon chapter was founded at Ohio University in 1988.

Alpha Omicron Pi, or AOII, raises awareness for arthritis and its 100 related diseases. Alpha Omicron Pi hosts events across campus to fundraise for its national philanthropy and other local organizations, such as Bobcats of the Shelter Dogs.

Alpha Omicron Pi's mascot is a panda. Its colors are cardinal red, promising purple, confident purple and ambitious pink.

Alpha Omicron Pi does not have a crest because it was founded on Greek values rather than Roman values.
